When you see these children that are helpless, your heart goes out to them. Everywhere we turn there is so many needs that you really have to pray for guidance and realize you can only do so much. Yet, if we could work around the clock, we probably would. The children from the MS Center are from the ages of one year old to around 18 years old. Their body muscles are detiorating and many don't live to be 16 or 17 years old. Praise God for the workers at Bencalet Center, which dedicate themselves to the care of these children. They don't earn much, maybe around five dollars a day. We try to bless the workers with clothes, shoes and toiletries. Bencalet has need of sponsors to provide for the children's medicines, nutritious food, diapers, etc.
At the Hospital Escuela, many parents come with their child, leaving home, family and without money to eat or a place to stay. They are concern with the welfare of their child, they risk all to get their child medical help. Its sad, but thats where we can make a difference. So whats in our power, to make them a sandwich or give them a bottle of juice or a taco, or a change of clothes, etc.
Missionaries play a big part in Humanitarium Aid in this country. But we can not do this without the help and goodwill of our partners and friends. Thanks!
